![]() ![]() Lock the control panel when ovens are on and turn off the beep/sound feature. We ordered the optional stainless steel knobs (the oven comes with black metal) and while they looked glam, they were too hot to touch when the oven was on. Next time he's here will ask him to pull the oven out from the wall and check the fan from the back side. ![]() ![]() The tech said it was normal due to the design of the small oven (a narrowed air-flow channel?). The fan to the small oven is noisy! the one on the right is not a problem. It looks so stately in my kitchen - truly a focal point. Getting the door unlatched required a cocktail, a patient husband and a coat hanger. I also want to say I love the fact the fridge beeps when the door is open, I have kids and they. Fingers crossed that does not happen again. We think that the hinges weren't properly locked during installation. The oven latch on the left broke when the oven door fell off (!) and we've rigged it with a paper clip for now until the technician can come back with the part. Keep your food fresh and reduce freezer burn with our variable speed compressor that reacts quickly to temperature fluctuations and constantly circulates cold. That seems to do the trick but so far we've only made pancakes so not sure how a bigger mess would clean up with this method. Now, when I use the griddle we let it cool off completely and only use dish soap and a sponge - no heat. When we tried that, the Dawn non-scratch sponge basically melted onto the surface! We ended up with a mess and had to use Goo Gone and elbow grease, which ultimately worked. The cleaning instructions state to heat the surface to 300 degrees, pour water on the surface and use a non-scratch pad. The surface is chrome so needs to be treated delicately. we dont have a CO2 detector furiously beeping to warn me of my own breath. When I turn the control knob from the pilot position to the low flame position the pilot just peters out immediately - there is no life from the burner at all. The griddle is lovely to look at but is a little bit of a bear to clean. (for both function and basic aesthetic) but it isnt a focal point. wall-mounted models or an island version to create a striking focal point in the. The pilot is nice and strong and the valve holds in first time every time with no issue which suggests the t/c is ok although not got out the meter as yet. The burner work surface is huge and all burners work as designed. It looks fantastic and creates the focal point we wanted w/o being overwhelming for a residential space. We purchased this 48" commercial-style range for its looks and price. ![]()
